Other's Thinking
The web is big and contains a wealth of knowledge and a fool's treasure of misinformation. Your friends, your family, your brothers and sisters in Christ, your Pastor, your professor or lecturer, your boss...even your own mind are all suspect to one degree or another.
In this section you'll find links to websites and particular resources that can, in my opinion, expand your mind in a God-honouring way. There are explanations for difficult concepts, discussions about faith, about science, about faith & science, about theological ideas, history, dogmatics, morality in a messed up world, Jesus, God and His nature...there's going to be a pretty long list. I'll try and curate it as best I can but in the end you'll have to go and look for yourself.
A Starter Resource List
I do not endorse everything you will find on these resource links. I have found them to be useful.
List of Services
-
Reasonable Faith (Dr William Lane Craig)List Item 1
Reasonable Faith aims to provide in the public arena an intelligent, articulate, and uncompromising yet gracious Christian perspective on the most important issues concerning the truth of the Christian faith today.
-
Reasons To Believe (Dr Hugh Ross)List Item 2
RTB opens people to the gospel by revealing God in science.
They utilise scientific advances to answer questions and uncover new evidence of God’s existence, character, and the reliability of the Bible.
-
Biblical TrainingList Item 3
We live in a time when pastors and leaders in the Christian community are encouraging and demanding that disciples of Jesus reject and discard the basics of the faith to embrace cultural perspectives that have proven historically to be destructive, heretical, promote evil and prevent human flourishing. The only answer to this is that people/each individual, read and understand the Bible so they know who God is, how to have a relationship with him and how they should live differently. BiblicalTraining.org provides individuals with the resources they need to do this themselves and to train others.
-
Desiring God (John Piper)List Item 4
Most people in the world have no experience of deep and abiding joy...
We aim to help people everywhere embrace a profound truth that changes everything about life and eternity: You were created for something greater than yourself. You were formed for something awesome and magnificent.
